Chestnut Wynd
Our new home for Young People
Growth and Development
Chestnut Wynd, our house for young people in West Granton, delivers holistic care and support for young people aged 15-21 as they make the transition to adult life.
Our 24/7 team work alongside young people to build safe social networks, strengthen family relationships and develop key life skills such as finding a tenancy, managing money and accessing education and training.
En-suite bedrooms, a living-room, group-room, wellbeing room, large kitchen and garden create a safe and welcoming home for young people as they move to early adulthood.
We work closely alongside young people and with family and professionals to achieve the best outcomes by:
Providing a range of 1:1 and group parenting supports and learning opportunities.
Access to community activities and supports.
Working with the whole family.
Contributing to parenting assessment work.
Providing reports for Children’s Hearings, Case Conferences and other key planning meetings.
Ensuring that young people are supported to be informed, included and involved in the decision-making processes that affect them.
Our Team
