Welcome

Dean & Cauvin Young People’s Trust is one of Edinburgh’s oldest charities, established in 1733 by merchants in the city to rescue children and young people from the streets.

We continue to work to keep young people from living on the streets and focus on working with young people aged 12 – 26 as they make the transition from being looked after and accommodated to living independently in the community.

Public commitments to #KeepThePromise

Dean and Cauvin Young People’s Trust #KeepthePromise

All children and young people in our care must grow up feeling loved, safe, and respected. As Scotland’s oldest charity we have been improving the lives of children and young people in the care system since 1733. We are committed to listening to the experiences of children and young people and learning from the findings of the Care Review.  Read more on The Promise here: https://thepromise.scot/keep-the-promise
