Pamela Kidd, Chief Executive
With summer shortly coming to an end it signifies a return to ‘business as usual’ for us. It is, therefore, a good opportunity to reflect on progress made in the year so far, and the challenges that lie ahead.
In this issue, we look at some of the work that has been ongoing to make a real, tangible difference to young people and their families. We follow the ‘Working Group’s’ progress and show how the young people clearly shape our service and how creative they are at raising our funds and profile (The Meadows Festival). They are also seen reaching out to other young people in our services to include them in activities (Young People’s Participation).
I would like to take the opportunity to say a big “THANK YOU” to Tesco Corstorphine for working in partnership with us and giving us access to their Fair Share scheme.
George Jose (Finance Manager) braved it all and completed the Aberdeen half marathon, which so far has raised a whopping £365 plus Gift Aid in sponsorship, so thank you for that George!
