On the 4th October, White Stuff Edinburgh hosted a fundraising ceilidh to raise money for Dean and Cauvin. The event was held at “Eastside” on George Street, who kindly provided the venue and welcome drinks free of charge. On arrival, all guests were also presented with a White Stuff “goody bag”.
Guests enjoyed dancing to traditional Scottish music, played by the Edinburgh University Folk Music Society, who made sure the dancefloor was full all night. Also greatly enjoyed by everyone was the singing of talented White Stuff staff member, Ellen Aitken. Thanks go to them for providing such excellent entertainment!
In addition to the money White Stuff has previously raised for the Trust, through bake sales, book sales and a recent art fair, the ceilidh raised an amazing £760 through ticket sales and a raffle.
We would like to express our thanks to everyone who attended and to White Stuff Edinburgh for being such brilliant hosts!
