Fostering and Transition Team Manager

Hi all, my name is Carolyn and I am currently the Fostering and Transition Team Service Manager.

I have worked for the Trust 20 years this year and have worked in most capacities across the Trust during my time in service. I enjoy my work very much and paricularly enjoy building trusting working relationships with young people and their families. I get excited about new developments which have been developed in response to young peoples feedback. I believe we can learn so much from working with young people/parents and this enables me to shape my practice while working with young people/parents.

I enjoy spending time with my family, and my hobbies are cooking, reading and watching movies. Looking forward to working with you.

Groupworker Coordinator

My name is Fiona and I am a group worker here at Dean and Cauvin Young People'sTrust and my fantastic job is to find spaces and places for you to have fun, relax, try out new things and discover new skills. My background is in Community Education, Youth Work and Adult Education mostly and I love working with people in groups. I have worked in communities across the city delivering Child Development courses, children's clubs and youth groups. I worked in Drummond Community High School for a number of years supporting learning and running Princes Trust programs. I have also worked in bars, pizza huts, hotels and cafes and spent some years working with homeless people. I am lucky enough to belong to lots of groups, groups who eat together, dance together, read together, learn together, holiday together and shop together. Aftercare Pathways Worker

Hi my name is Rowan and I am the Aftercare Pathways Worker with the Aftercare team. I have been with the trust for over 4 years and my previous role was Group worker. My background is in Community Education and I have worked in a variety of different roles and settings, but always focused on working with young people.
I am lucky enough to work with young parents that receive a service from Dean and Cauvin, either in one of our residential units or in the community. My role is very person centred and changes depending on the varying needs of each young parent. I love my job, and am privileged to work with such motivated and resilient young parents.
I have three little girls of my own and when I am not working they keep me well and truly on my toes! My hobbies include body combat, spending time with friends and I love FOOD! The question I am most likely going to ask you is ‘what are you having for your tea?’
