Dean & Cauvin Young People’s Trust is one of Edinburgh’s oldest charities, established in 1733 by merchants in the city to rescue children and young people from the streets.

We continue to work to keep young people from living on the streets and focus on working with young people aged 12 – 26 as they make the transition from being looked after and accommoda

ted to living independently in the community.

Coronavirus – UPDATE

In response to the Scottish Government advice on coronavirus we have shut our Head Office at 68 St John’s Road. All office based staff are working from home to avoid non-essential contact. Staff are still contactable via phone or email.  We are still providing an aftercare service – if you have not been allocated to an individual member of staff please email . If you wish to speak to someone in person please call the office number on 0131 3373295. If your call is not answered immediately please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We appreciate this is a stressful time for many people we support. We want to assure you that we will continue to support children and young people during this difficult time. If you need any support please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do what we can to help you.
